Launch of the research project "Logist.Plus"

Federal Minister Anja Karliczek visits Ladbergen

Designing logistics areas efficiently: Our company supports the regional research project "Resource protection through logistics - Logist.Plus". On Thursday, 06.20.2020, the starting signal for the research project was given at our branch in Ladbergen. At the meeting of all partners in the consortium, Federal Minister of Education and Research Anja Karliczek presented the funding decisions for the first three years of the project phase, totalling 1.5 million euros.

How can logistics areas be used more resource-saving and sustainable in the future? This is one of the questions addressed by the research association "Logist.Plus" closed. The aim of the project is to enable a sustainable regional development of the logistics sector. To this end, innovative structures for the city, the urban surroundings and the rural area are to be created and harmonised with approaches of cooperative corportae environmental and transport management.

The eight partners in the joint project include the European Land and Soil Alliance e.V., the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, the district of Osnabrück, The Komeptenznetzwerk Individuallogistik e.V., the district of Steinfurt, the city of Osnabruck, the Wissenschaftsladen Bonn e.V. an the University of Osnabrück. There are also a number of supporters, including our company. The project is financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research with a total of approximately 2.2 million euros.
